This group is for current members of Saxon Shore u3a only. Please see our How to Join our u3a page, if you are not already a member.
This is a chance to learn together and develop your photographic ‘eye’ through a series of easy to accomplish , simple tasks within a small group. Each month, a separate theme will be presented that has the potential to make your photographs "better" [These are things like composition, using simple techniques to make the photos more presentable].
We're NOT into photographic point scoring of miniscule picture elements and welcome anyone who'd just like to use their camera (whatever type) a bit better by a lot more practice!
Each session will be within a different area, punctuated with a mid-session coffee stop to share ideas and successes. Digital photographs will be shared/credited on a session-by-session basis on a shared online platform. Most of the photography will be in the ‘field’ so be prepared to walk up to a couple of miles.

We will sometimes use 'post-production' software to present our photographs such as the Microsoft Image Composition Editor (ICE) or the online collage maker (Available here). Everyone has the opportunity to share two or three of their favourite photographs in a Dropbox area so that they can be admired by the rest of the group.
